Our top business client this year has been ThunderridgeCEO. Alonzo found us by searching for a Trading Assistant in eBay and we have enjoyed a wonderful relationship for the past 3 months. Alonzo purchased a large inventory of “skater” items at the public auction of a retail store that went out of business. He consigned the items to us, which consisted of shoes, clothing, caps, belts, and ski wear. Through this client, we have become proficient at running sales and other promotions on merchandise through our eBay Store. We also opened up international shipping for his items and we have been amazed by the locations we have shipped to, such as: Australia, Latvia, Greece, Brazil, Russia Federation, Sweden, Germany, Canada and many more! Habitat for Humanity – first charity on board!

Habitat for Humanity Home Improvement Outlet Stores became the first charitable organization to utilize our services on July 1, 2009. Since that date, we have sent them checks totalling over $8,000! We have sold items they never imagined could be sold on eBay, such as microwaves, gas dryers, cooktops, security system equipment, and many other items. Through this client, we learned how to hire freight carriers for less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments and we were able to negotiate some good rates taking items all over the country. We are grateful to Habitat for being the first charity on board!

Hello world! I am excited to be launching a new adventure into the vast online marketplace, together with some of my family and friends. Did you know that on eBay alone, over 100 million items are available worldwide, and over 6.4 million items are added every day? A digital camera sells every minute, and a forklift sells every 4 hours. Talk about a vast array of items! Our idea is to capture a bit of that action for the benefit of charities that serve the poor. I started out thinking I would just get rid of my own excessive stuff, and donate the money to charity. But the more I learned about online selling, the more convinced I became that we could develop a Win-Win-Win situation, which doesn’t occur all that often in life.

The people selling their stuff win because they get rid of excess stuff in their homes and begin to enjoy a simpler life.
The buyers of our stuff win because they are getting good deals on stuff they need or want.
And best of all, others in our community and around the world win, who have very little or no stuff at all.

I also want to take a moment here to thank my sister, Diane Hahn, who has put countless hours into the development of this website. I have also received wonderful advice from my new “pen/email pal,” Claude Dohrn, who’s book, eBay Consignment Selling & Drop Off Stores, provided me with enlightened advice on the mechanics of online selling.
