Trading 4 Treasures received its first TV coverage on 9News (NBC affiliate)! TaRhonda Thomas, reporter for 9News, called us on Wednesday morning, June 30, and asked if she could send a photo journalist to film Janet Nkubana Ashley the beading techniques used by the Rwandan women. Ken Mostek spent close to an hour with us and was fascinated by the story. Ms. Thomas called me later to ask if they could do a longer feature on our work in Rwanda this fall, so we are excited by their interest! Check out the story here: 9 News Story
